What information do we collect?

Upon registration on JoomJunk, we collect the following:

  • Name
  • Username
  • Password (this is encrypted, therefore we do not have access to it)
  • Email address

When purchasing an extension, the only additional information we collect is your:

  • Address
  • PayPal email

which come directly from PayPal.

JoomJunk do not use any tracking or analytics services, such as Google Analytics.

What do we use your information for?

The only information used is your email address, which may be used to:

  • Confirm your registration on JoomJunk
  • Confirm a purchase made on JoomJunk
  • Notify you of any privacy policy changes
  • Comply with the law

Where is your information stored?

All information you provide us is stored on secure server, by our trusted hosting provider, at the data centre in the United Kingdom.

Do we disclose any information to outside parties?

No. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. We may release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety.

Do we use cookies?

Yes (Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computers hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the sites or service providers systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information.

We use cookies to help us remember and process the items in your shopping cart and understand and save your preferences for future visits.

Account termination

Registered users can request to have their accounts permanently deleted. Once your account has been deleted, no trace of your personal data will remain on our servers. Please note that this is not reversible.

Protecting children

We do not and will not knowingly collect any personal data for children under the age of 13, without consent from their parent or guardian. Children under the age of 13 cannot have accounts on JoomJunk without parental/guardian involvement.

Providing us with an admin account on your site, or a site backup for support

When requesting support, we sometimes ask for either a site backup or an admin account which helps speed up the process of solving an issue. This is of course up to you if you feel comfortable doing so. Any admin account details or or data/files in your backup are strictly confidential and will not be stored or released to any 3rd parties.

Backups provided by a client will always be installed on a local environment (never on our server). Backups will be completely removed from our local environment either at the request of the client or once an issue has been resolved
