Hey,

No, sorry about this. I've just recently added a sound notification for new shouts and had to fix the Ajax response for Joomla 2.5 this morning.

All we need to do now it do 1 final test and the stable version of the shoutbox will be released either tonight or tomorrow morning

We've released the shoutbox now without 2.5 support for the AJAX functionality (note the shoutbox itself still does work on 2.5 - but will refresh the page as before).

Matt Thomas (ex Joomla leadership) has developed a 2.5 compatible version of the AJAX component that is in Joomla 3.2 and higher. We are planning on utilising this however are awaiting some final tweaks before it get released on JED for us to recommend for users

i'm afraid i can't rate twice

edit: registered users have to fill in the math question/recaptcha. Would be great if that's only necessary for public users if activated.
