Social Slider Support for Rel Tags was created by ibweb
Just as a thought, it would be fantastic if you could allow Rel="author" and "publisher" support to the social links on the Social Slider. This would be a great and easy way to implement Google's authorship markup.

Perhaps you already have an easy workaround you could share that would still easily use Social Slider?

Hi ibweb,

I just looked at the markup for what you've suggested. To do this, the following must be done:
<a href="[profile_url]?rel=author">Google</a>

in other word this:
<a href="https://plus.google.com/109412257237874861202?rel=author">Google</a>

When adding links to the Social Slider, you only need to add in the link, not the whole <a> tag. So in your case, could you not simply add in the following for the Google+ link?
https://plus.google.com/109412257237874861202?rel=author

obviously changing the ID to yours
