Height of sliders
was created by
euanmcginty
Hi,
I've just installed this on a website and only need two sliders - the Facebook and Twitter ones. The height of the Facebook slider is more than the Twitter one as the words wrap on to two lines when it says "Follow via Facebook" - can I make the sliders longer so that the words don't wrap or change the size of the fonts? Or is there another way to resolve this?
Many thanks,
Euan

Height of sliders
Hi Euan,
hmm that's odd. The sentence should not be wrapping with the default text. It might be because your template is overriding the font size. It is possible to change the length of the sliders but you will have to give me a few days as I will be quite busy in the next couple of days. You can either do that, or send me a link to your site so I can inspect it and show you where to change the font size so that it doesn't wrap on to a new line.
Regards,
Lodder

Thanks, Lodder, the website is
www.weldonmcinnis.ca
- I've cheated to create a solution and changed the Facebook text to "Like on facebook" which solves the problem for me.
Best wishes,
Euan

Height of sliders
Hi,
So the issue is the text-transform to uppercase in the template - this is making the width of the text wider than the available width. To do this if you're happy making a change in the code - you can just add in this extra line here:
github.com/JoomJunk/Social-Slider/commit...2ba5dac374d5929d8R39
into the css file found in
ROOT_INSTALL/media/mod_social_slider/css/style.css
and it should work as expected. I've made this change into the module for our next release as well so there's no need to worry about our module update overriding the file
Kind Regards,
George
