I wonder if I can somehow modify css so that the first Slide to be open by default without the need to hover.

Hi kostalasa,

This can't be done with the CSS option, it can only be done with jQuery so you will firstly need to select that option in the Setting for the module.

Unfortunately I don't have a lot of time this weekend so won't be able to get it done for you.
