PHP8 issue

Hallo everybody,

using the social slider under PHP 7.4 everything is wonderful. On PHP 8.0 and 8.1 I get the error message

hash(): Argument #2 ($data) must be of type string, array given

Help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi mamurczak,

Could you let me know the following please:

1. Your Joomla version
2. Your exact PHP version
3. What version of Social Slider you're using

Could you also enable debugging on your Global Configuration so that it shows you which file/line the error is coming from?

Joomla Version 4.2.4
PHP Version 8.0.23

JJ Social Slider 3.0.0

I cannot replicate this error in PHP 8.0 or 8.1

Also, $data is not a variable that's used in Social Slider.

Please enable "Debug System" in your Global Configuration to see where the error is coming from

Ok... Debug provides the appropriate hint.

Function hash: JROOT/plugins/system/httpheader/httpheader.php:142

If I disable the plugin HTTP headers, everything works again.
