Custom Icon not appearing

I have the folder .../media/mod_social_slider/icons/ as per the documentation and placed my myicon.png in there. I have assigned this png to my custom links. However all I see is a black square and not the icon I have placed there. The folder has other icons like flicker_black.png, flicker_white.png etc so I presume I have ftped to the right location. This is the default icon I was getting when it just said icon.png and not my created and assigned icon.

Resolved. It must be something to do with caching.

Thanks for the thread on this. I have the same issue and have been working through the resolve. I have ftp'd and have it in the right place and cleared cache but I am not sure how much I should be putting in the custom slides image box. I have tried:-

mod_social_slider/icons/glyph-logo_May2016.png
icons/glyph-logo_May2016.png
glyph-logo_May2016.png

For all the options I get the same black box rather than the icon.

Instagram is pretty huge. Have you considered having this as one of the main options?
