You can install an extension such as the one provided in this link: extensions.joomla.org/extension/extplorer/

Then after installing the FTP how do i upload the logo to the folder.

Go to the component you've just installed, then use it to navigate to the following directory:

media/mod_social_slider/icons

you will then be able to upload your images in here
