Soundcloud height is larger than other tabs

I love this plug-in and it works seamlessly with my site. Recently (in the past few weeks), I've noticed that the Soundcloud tab's height is larger than the rest. I thought maybe it had to do with the text wrapping around to next line, but there's no way to edit the text of the Soundcloud tab. When I looked at the demo here on the JoomJunk site, it seems to have the same issue. I've tried viewing in three different browsers ,so positive it's not a browser issue.

I realize this post may seem tedious and is only about esthetic issues, but seems like it should be an easy fix. Thanks in advance for any assistance. :-)

Hi Chemdawg,

The Social Slider currently has a set width of 130px. Some longer text phrases, especially some foreign one will of course wrap on to a new line which was a fix we made a while back.

One thing you could do is use CSS to target the text of the slider and bring it down 1 size. Your template may also be overriding some of the default text styling.

If you could provide a link to your website, I will be able to give you a more accurate solution.

Also, you mentioned that the same issue occurs on the JoomJunk demo page. Which browser though? I have tested in Firefox and Chrome and there is no text-wrapping.

Thank you for the prompt reply Lodder. It could possibly be my template, but when I first installed the plugin, no text wrapping occured. It just started happening one day out of the blue. Here's a link to my site: davesweeten.com/

I also tried viewing in Firefox, Chrome and Safari and still seems to be happening on both my site and the JoomJunk demo. Maybe I should try viewing from another computer. ;-)

I see the problem now, which I don't get on Firefox, but I do get on Chrome.

1. Make sure you are not zoomed in on the browser at all. To revert back to the default zoom (100%), simply press ALT + 0.

If the zoom is not causing an issue, then it's because of the bold font weight I set in the CSS file. Unfortunately different browsers render font differently, thus some may be slight larger, even when it's supposed to be a set size.

To get around this, open the following file and go to line 23
ROOT/media/mod_social_slider/css/style.css

Here you will see font-weight: bold; which you can change to font-weight: normal;

Hope this helps.

Lodder
