JQuery Conflict w/ Joofolio, even with JQuery Easy
was created by

BTW great module. It displays beautifully on most of my pages, however on the pages that has "Joomfolio" (another Joomla extension), JJ Social Slider will not show. I went through a variation of JQuery/CSS configurations, however no luck.
Also, I tried using JQuery Easy, and that did not seem to help much either. Any recommendations, or thoughts?
I can privately provide admin access if that will help. Thank you again for a great module and hope to hear from you soon.

Hi gooberzzz,
In the Social Slider options, if you switch to CSS, this means that the Slider will only use CSS and
no
jQuery is used at all to power it, therefore it's not a jQuery conflict.
The reason why it might not be showing is because Joomfolio might be applying some styling which is overriding the Social Slider.
Would you be able to provide a link to your site so I can have a look. I'm sure the problem will be able to be targeted using Firebug if I can have a look at your site.

Lodder

I've taken look at your site and for some reason, there is something that is stripping inline CSS and thus the styling which you define in the Social Slider options is not being applied.
I'm not sure at the moment what is causing this, however to find out, would you be ok with me taking a backup of your site to put on my localhost to start debugging. It simply saves making any changes to your current website.
Let me know if you're ok with this and I will install Akeeba Backup tomorrow morning
