Hi, have found a little security issue with the JJ Shoutbox.
When me or someone else types something into the Shoutbox it displays the user's IP address in the box



For security reasons i have covered my IP address.

Can you please tell me how to solve this problem.

Hi Paul,

I replied to your e-mail regarding this.
The IP only shows for administrators. A lot of extensions provide this feature. Even this forum (Kunena) does.

If you log in a a standards registered user, you will see the IP address does not show.

If you would like to completely remove it, then let me know and I will send you a modified default.php
