error when installing shoutbox

error when installing shoutbox was created by ellasafitri
hello everybody, please help me. what should i do to handle this error when installing shoutbox on my joomla.
it said "

Strict Standards: Non-static method modShoutboxHelper::postfiltering() should not be called statically in C:\xampp\htdocs\wsec-polinema\modules\mod_shoutbox\mod_shoutbox.php on line 50

" ,

Strict Standards: Creating default object from empty value in C:\xampp\htdocs\wsec-polinema\modules\mod_shoutbox\helper.php on line 49

and also the message can't be shown.

i need to fix this problem :(

Hi ellasafitri,

These error are due to the fact that you have strict error reporting turned on. hat you will need to do is turn it off via the php.ini.

In your php.ini you will have the following code:
error_reporting(E_ALL | E_STRICT);

which you need to change to
error_reporting(E_ALL);

knowing ur explanation it's just a simple problem.

will the strict notice be disappear when i really upload my joomla on web hosting?

The ESTRICT will most likely not show when your Joomla site is live as most hosts have ESTRICT error reporting turned off. It is a very slim chance they will have it turned off and if so, you can simply ask them to turn it off ;)
