The same IP for all users was created by dfdd
Good morning.

The module is taking the same IP for all users, attached screenshot where evidence the problem.

That way, I can not ban users. Please request to solve this problem, thanks.

Perhaps the users who have submitted posts are all using the same network?

No, some users are with the same internet provider, but in other cases, they are in other cities with different providers.

Previously it had also happened that the IP address is the same for all chat participants.

If the problem continues, I can not ban users.

Hmm, I find this odd, cause for each post, the Shoutbox simply uses native PHP functions to get their IP address.

Would you please be able to create me a temporary super admin account for me to test? If so, please send the login details to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and I'll look at it tomorrow morning.

Ok I see the issue now. Basically your hosting provider is using some sort of proxy so that REMOTE_ADDR returns the IP address of your server, rather than the IP from which the request was made (visitor).

This is not correct, so you will need to contact your hosting provider to remove this proxy.

Unfortunately this isn't something we can fix ourselves as your server is changing PHP default behavior.

Lodder
